First Aid Course

LEFS conducted a First Aid course on Friday January 24. Twelve club and two community participants completed sessions on CPR and the Defibrillator, as well as learning the treatments for many different ailments.

Thank you to Steven Hicks, First Aid Provider, for conducting the course and Anne Pinke, Treasurer of the Committee for Local Ambulance, for her assistance. Anyone passing through Clifton, Steven and his partner run Dusty’s Café.

This App is very easy to download and may save someone’s life. It provides emergency services with your location. You have the choice of 3 services – Police, SES and 000.

The operator will ask you for the 3 words at the bottom of the screen under “My Location”. They can pinpoint you to a 3m² area.
